Decor Ideas:
1. Let the invitation dictate how you handle the décor. A favorite bridal luncheon I hosted was given on the same day as Texas’ Independence Day (yes, in Texas, we still celebrate the day we became an independent nation). The invitation had the drawing of a bride’s skirt and you could see her cowboy boots poking out. So, for these décor ideas I am telling you what I did for this party.
2. My centerpiece was a big silver cowboy boot vase I own, and it was filled to overflowing with beautiful flowers. In a few other strategic areas, I had several pairs of my old cowboy boots sitting around and filled with flowers.
3. On the invitation, the attire I requested was luncheon dress and "cowboy boots.” So, the clothing of the guests added to the décor and feel of the party.
4. Party Favors: Handmade, and beautifully decorated, cowboy boot cookies.
