WHAT I LEARNED WHEN I READ THE BIBLE
I love this simple verse in Genesis. God promises Abraham He will have more descendants than there are stars in the sky, yet Abraham and his wife were barren. God has just told Abraham his descendants will be so numerous they cannot be counted, yet Abraham doubts. It is these simple, yet profound, words throughout the Bible that remind me even our great biblical forefathers were human. If God tells us that even Abraham had doubts on occasion, I think I can forgive myself when sometimes I doubt, too.
