The holiest day for a Christian is Good Friday. It is the day the Old Testament prophesies were fulfilled with the death of Jesus. In fact, there were approximately 351 prophecies, which makes His life and death a statistical impossibility as foretold in the O.T. Why was He born? For one reason. So, He could die. Good Friday is the day Christians remember Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice of death. Easter Sunday is the day we celebrate His resurrection. He asks nothing of us, but only that we Abide in Him.
